Delaware Brick Company is a family-owned masonry distributor with roots dating to 1946 in New Castle, DE, where founder John G. Schauber began manufacturing brick before expanding distribution across the Carolinas, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. After opening sales offices in Wilmington (Prices Corner) in the 1950s and Dover in the 1960s, the company ceased local manufacturing in 1979 to focus on representing leading brick and stone producers nationwide—later adding Chestertown Brick & Tile (Chestertown, MD) and New Brick & Tile (Easton, MD) in 1994. Today, its four yards serve Delaware County, PA, the entire State of Delaware, and Maryland’s Eastern Shore with deep inventory, expert guidance, and reliable delivery.
